Some interesting things that have occured in my interviews

I’ve had a total of 8 so far, 6 to go (probably more too OTL) and I’ve had some… interesting conversations…

For instance:

- I had someone who interviewed me 4 months ago. I forgot the contents of the interview and didn’t even have time to research since I ran from my last interview to this one. I walked in, saw the same guy, and he skipped all his questions and just asked me ‘What’s up’. He was like: ‘You probably remember everything so what’s new?’. fvjdafkafghak So my interview was only 15 minutes instead of 45.

- My grades are pretty good. And so when this one person flipped to the back, he was surprised. He asked me, ‘How’s your math?’ and before I could answer he said ‘Never mind, it’s probably great.’.

- Everyone seems to be interested in Dictionary Manager and my game app (though I’ve mentioned both briefly without too many details).

- One of them wants to look it up so I should put it on github and bury my blog

- I have too many interviews. RIM hurry up and schedule so I can stop the flood.

The only downside to interviews is that I have to skip a lot of classes.

On another note, I developed something to replace the current ‘standard’ and I saw the group looking for a developer to help improve that ‘standard’. Suffice to say, I was tempted to apply just to laugh….. But that would be a waste of time because their thing sucks.

It’s been 4 months….

I honestly can’t believe it. Tomorrow’s my last day of coop (though I’m coming back on a part-time bases in the fall). It- It’s just- wow. I guess I was just so busy, and I’ve enjoyed my time so much I didn’t notice it.

I remember last year I was so /happy/ I had left that place. I’d come home every night wishing it’d be over. Like, the only thing that kept me going there was that I was getting paid and, well, it was for credits.

The strange thing is, I did similar stuff this year like I did last year (even though I specifically picked this job to be different). I guess it’s the people that make it huh?

Well, I have a very short week and a half break before school starts again after tomorrow. Time to work on moving (again)!
